The Avian Flu peptide pool contains 52 peptides from Influenza A virus subtype H5N1 (A/H5N1), derived from the following proteins:
- Hemagglutinin
- Neuraminidase
- Nucleocapsid protein
- Nucleoprotein NP
- Matrix protein 0
- Matrix protein 1
- Polymerase PA
- Polymerase PB1
The peptide sequences are a mixture of MHC-I and MHC-II epitopes, and the minimum purity of each peptide is ≥90% (HPLC-MS).
Application
The in-vitro stimulation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) with Avian Flu (H5N1) ImmuneSelect Peptide Pool activates memory T cells specific to the virus, leading to cytokine secretion and the increased expression of specific surface markers.
