The Human Herpesvirus (HHV-6) peptide pool contains 42 peptides from  betaherpesvirus 6A (HHV-6A) and human betaherpesvirus 6B (HHV-6B), derived from the following proteins:

• Envelope glycoprotein H
• Large structural phosphoprotein
• Large tegument protein deneddylase
• Major capsid protein
• Phosphoprotein 85
• Phosphoprotein 86
• Protein U54
• Protein U63
• Putative OX-2 membrane glycoprotein homolog (U85)

The peptide sequences are a mixture of MHC class–I & II epitopes. The purity of each peptide is ≥90% (HPLC-MS).

Application

The in vitro stimulation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) with HHV6 ImmuneSelect Peptide Pool activates memory T cells specific to the virus, leading to cytokine secretion and the increased expression of specific surface markers.
